Studio Rentals, Events, and Privates

Dancing Grounds has one location that houses two beautiful dance studios at 3705 St. Claude Avenue NOLA 70117.

Lakeside Studio (25’ x 30’): (PICTURES) - 19 person max for Covid safety
Riverside Studio (20' x 24’): (PICTURES) - 12 person max for Covid safety
Front Lobby is available for rental for an additional fee: (PICTURES)

Each studio has central air/heat, WiFi, a Bose sound system with bluetooth and aux cord hook-up, and 8-ft mirrors. We also have three 6-ft folding tables, 45 folding chairs, and yoga equipment (mats, blocks, blankets, straps) available for use.

Covid Safety Policies - Vaxx or Negative Test Required

Based on the City of New Orleans’ guidelines, all renters must email proof of at least one dose of an approved COVID vaccine or negative PCR or Antigen test within 72 hours to use our facility for rentals.

Book Your Studio Rental Through The Calendar Below

1. Select Appointment Type:
   1-hour, 1.5-hour, or 2- hour rental
   for your studio of choice, Lakeside (larger room, no heels allowed) or Riverside (smaller room, heels allowed)

2. Select “Instructor”
   Choose the room you want: Lakeside Room or Riverside Room

3. Select a date on the calendar and click “Search”
   This will give you a range of dates to choose from.

4. Book through the checkout screen that pops up.
   Create an account with your preferred email address.

5. Check your email for a link to your rental contract and other key details.
   You will not be allowed to use the space without completing a contract and provide vaccination/negative test documentation.

Special Events & Private Classes

Group Privates & Bachelorettes - Get a group of friends or colleagues together for a private class in any dance genre! We’ll provide the instructor and space. Our most popular group classes are Bounce, Hip Hop, and Heels.

Private Lessons - DG instructors are available to teach a one-on-one private class at DG or off-site locations. Visit our Instructors page for available dance genres and bios.

Event Rentals & Commercial Bookings - Host a bridal shower, baby shower, birthday party, video shoot, or other special events at our space. We have tables and chairs available to use.

To submit a Private or Events request, email rentals@dancingrounds.org with:
1) date and time would you like to rent the studio;
2) purpose of the rental;
3) expected number of participants.

Please allow us 48 hours to respond. We require at least one week's notice to book a private class.
