Gabbi Bankston 

Gabrielle is a 14-year-old freshman at Eleanor McMain High School.  Her first passion is dancing. She loves to express myself through movements and music. She started dancing with my church and then moved on to dancing with my school and Anthony Bean Theater where she played the role of Banzai the hyena in The Lion King. After years doing community dancing; her sister came across Dancing Grounds. She did a drop-in class and I loved it.  She asked her Mom if she could attend more often. She went into their summer program and I fell in love…she knew this was the place she wanted to start her dancing career. If she win this showdown prize she would give half of the money to my parents to put in a savings for college. The other half to help her parents with the bills and with Thanksgiving and Christmas.
