In 2019, 225 DG youth lept to new heights. Our Dance for Social Change teen leaders tackled the topic of gentrification with their brilliant artistry. Our youth dance companies brought inspiration to over 1,600 audience members. And our first class of high school seniors went off to college with scholarships funded by supporters like you. Beyond our youth programs, 1,700 adults got health, wellness, and community support from DG classes.
In 2020, we'll keep the momentum going with a new arts & social justice summer camp, a paid teen internship program, and an expanded DSC festival at the Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans.
