Brieze Levy

Brieze Levy is a dancer, choreographer, and teaching artist working as Adult Program Manager at Dancing Grounds. Brieze attended Bard College in New York, graduating with a B.A. in Dance and Religion. At Bard, she studied with the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, with mentors including Leah Cox, Paul Matteson, and Stuart Singer. Since moving to New Orleans in 2012, Brieze has danced in the CAC Distillery, the New Orleans Fringe Festival with Maritza Mercado-Narcisse, with BUKU Dance Krewe at BUKU Festival, and with Hannibal Buress during All-Star Weekend. In 2019, she performed on the European tour of recording artist, Peaches. Brieze has taught dance to children in grades 3-8 in DG's in-school, summer, and Saturday programs, and currently teaches a weekly adult contemporary class at DG.
